How quick life changes

Well I'm hitting 50 in September, and I am finally fulfilling my one wish and thats to become a nurse, I have studied all sorts over the years but I have never been able to get into the one career I've always wanted, and that was nursing.

Always being told I had no experience and so kept getting refused. Then by chance I applied for a job as an Healthcare Assistant and blow me down I got the job, with no experience what so ever and just a few months in Im already on my way to studying as a nurse.

Firstly though after 2 years of trying I am going to be doing an Access to Nursing Diploma, as they have eventually given me a place of study.  They asked me what job I was doing, and I told them that I worked for the NHS and that its ward based with elderly medical care. Didn't even need a proper interview as they gave me an unconditional offer, I was so happy, as were my nurses as work, they kept egging me on to go for it and I did. I just can't wait to get this year over with and start University. I already have my first choice ready, just hoping I get past the interview stages that will come my way.

well thats it for now will be back to chat about my days at work, without breaking any rules 😁 Im back to work Monday as I've had annual leave for the past 10 days. So heres looking forward to see what I will turn up to at 7am, for my long 12.5hr shift.
